Airline Commission Discount Logic
The Airline Commission is a deduction applied per passenger and is displayed as a discount on the checkout screen. It is configured per airline and helps reduce the final fare shown to the customer.
Location of Configuration
This commission is configured in the Admin portal at:
- ADMIN → Agency → Airline Commission
Discount Types & Logic
To configure Airline Commission:
- Select the Supplier (e.g., Amadeus, Travel Fusion, Verteil)
- Choose the Airline related to the selected supplier
- Select Customer Type: B2B or B2C
- Choose Based On (defines how the commission is calculated):
- Basic
- Basic + Tax
- Total Fare
- Select Commission Type:
- Flat → enter a fixed amount
- Percentage → enter a percentage value
The system applies the configured commission per passenger during fare calculation.
Display on Checkout Screen
At checkout, this commission is shown as a discount like below:
